Untamed Borders was the original ski company in Afghanistan and the first company to run ski trips to Afghanistan, way back in 2011. We have been asked to arrange travel packages by the organisers of the Afghan Ski Challenge every season since.

Untamed Borders was also the first company to run a commercial ski trip to Iraq, we have returned every year since 2016, taking international guests to compete in the Iraq Ski Rally, part of the Choman Winter Festival.

We run fixed date trips each year to ski in Afghanistan and Iraq. See the itineraries below for more detailed information about each trip. These trips coincide with local races and festivals.

We can also arrange private ski trips to Afghanistan and Iraq as well as other regions including Pakistan, Western China, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.
