Somaliland Marathon
Untamed Borders organised the Somaliland Marathon, in the Horn of Africa, for three years between 2018 and 2020. The event was pioneering in the region, becoming the only mixed gender sporting event ever to be held, in any part, of Greater Somalia.
The ground breaking event garnered media attention around the world. You can read examples here and here. The race was paused to to the COVID pandemic and has not restarted at this stage.
