Help Support the Marathon of Afghanistan

On the weekend of 5th-6th September, there is a virtual 5km race to raise money so that the actual Marathon of Afghanistan event can go ahead in Afghanistan.

In normal years the entry fees of international runners help make it possible for lots of local runners (female and male) to take part, but there will be very few international participants this year. So we’re hoping a virtual run gives people around the world a way to support the event and as enable as many locals as possible to take part.
