Afghanistan’s first-ever mixed gender climbing team to summit Noshaq

Afghan Ski guide Ali Shah was a member of Afghanistan’s first-ever mixed gender climbing team to summit Noshaq in August 2020. Noshaq, standing at 7400m, is the highest mountain in the Hindu Kush range as well as Afghanistan’s highest peak.
The team of 9 comprised of both women and men, led by Ali Shah, who also works as a ski guide for Untamed Borders.
