Recently, our Founder James Willcox, was invited on to Talk Radio Europe, for a half-an-hour dicussion about tourism in Libya.
Untamed Borders has been organising trips to the country since 2017, initially focused around the north and west of the country. However, last year Untamed Borders organised a group trip to the Saharan South of Libya, visiting locations including the UNESCO World Heritage sites in the Jebel Acacsus, the Oases of the Ubari and the desert town of Ghat. It was one of the first trips of its kind since 2011.
We also now run trips to Eastern Libya and have a special new group trip in the summer of 2027 to coincide with the longest land-based solar eclipse in our lifetime.
