All about the Empty Quarter Adventure (Riyadh Marathon Add-on).

Rub’Al Khali, the Empty Quarter, is the largest sand desert in the world and covers parts of Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman and Yemen. Covering approximately 250,000 square miles the Empty Quarter is bigger than France.

Made famous through Wilfred Thesigers travels in the 1950s and lovingly described in his book “Arabian Sands”, the empty quarter is just that, empty.

This trip will give a taste of that vastness traversing a small section in southern Saudi Arabia and camping twice under the stars of the vast desert sky.

Start Point: Riyadh
End Point: Riyadh
Cost: US$1150 per person

Please note: This trip is an add-on available only to guests who have booked the Riyadh Marathon package.
